Zoraida R. Cruz Torres, Esq., was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and is admitted to practice in both New York and Puerto Rico. She is also a licensed notary public in Puerto Rico. Through her firm, Cruz Torres Legal Services PLLC, she offers nationwide immigration court representation via a primarily virtual platform. She serves clients across Puerto Rico, New York, and East Africa, drawing on deep-rooted personal and professional connections that give her work a strong global perspective.
Zoraida is fluent in Spanish, passed the bar exam in both English and Spanish, studied advanced German, and is currently learning Swahili. She has successfully represented clients from diverse regions, including India, Ethiopia, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Pakistan.

As a law student, she supported Hurricane María survivors, helping homeowners challenge unfair mortgage forbearance terms and lobbying for reforms to protect vulnerable residents.
Zoraida is also involved in the management of residential properties in Puerto Rico, New York, and East Africa.
